After a long absence, Insomnia Radio Detroit is back and better than ever! Will be putting out episodes more regularly, and with more stuff than ever before!
To bring it all back, I’m giving you an incredible interview that I did with a local band, Broken Day Machine. I got a chance to listen to one of their practices a couple months ago, and sat down and talked to them about where they’ve been and where they’re going - this band has huge potential! This is a long interview, but well worth listening to - One of the songs included is a rendition that Will (the lead singer) did before the interview that same day - very good song!
Broken Day Machine will be having their CD Release Party on August 9th @ Simon’s in Allen Park, MI - I plan on being there, let me know if you will be joining me!

This episode brings a couple non-Detroit bands, but they fit in very well with the other Detroit bands! Ether Aura and Bell Hollow (from New York City) start off the show, and they’re also playing together live on May 3rd at Northern Lights Lounge in Detroit ! If you’re in the area, it’s a great show to check out!
Finishing out the show I have a great tune from The Go, Regulators, and a great band from Toledo - ReDiscovered!

Hope you all are enjoying the new site - I am! It’s a HUGE improvement over the previous one, and I think it’s much easier to find all that Insomnia Radio has to offer.
Now, as for Insomnia Radio:Detroit - we need more music! If you’re a band from the south eastern side of Michigan, the metro Detroit area - submit your music! It’s easy to do, even easier than before. Send it to me in an email and say: “I want my music on Insomnia Radio:Detroit!” Or something to that effect! That’s it! No forms to fill out, nothing to read - just free promotion for your music, simple and easy.
